Il est r\u00e9alis\u00e9 une fois par an. Seuls les m\u00e9decins titulaires d&rsquo;un dipl\u00f4me f\u00e9d\u00e9ral de m\u00e9decin sont autoris\u00e9s \u00e0 exercer. Les candidats sont admis \u00e0 l&rsquo;examen de sp\u00e9cialiste apr\u00e8s avoir obtenu un dipl\u00f4me de m\u00e9decin ou un dipl\u00f4me de m\u00e9decin \u00e9tranger reconnu par l&rsquo;Office f\u00e9d\u00e9ral de la sant\u00e9 publique (OFSP) (art. 23 RFP).
